Getting ready for big school? Let’s make the transition fun and confident!
Studies show that children who dance often develop stronger reading skills, better focus, and improved confidence.
At Groove, our Kindy Start Program helps little learners build essential school-ready skills — learning to take turns, follow instructions, listen to teachers, and become independent in a supportive and joyful environment.
Our wonderful teaching team includes a school teacher/experienced SLSO (Student Learning Support Officer) who has been helping young children succeed for the past 6 years in schools and in dance classes, and our studio owner with over 25 years of dance teaching experience, specialising in dance education and child development.
This program is run at a time when most school readiness programs have finished — making it a great opportunity to continue learning and building confidence right up to the start of school.
Studies show that children who dance often:
✅ Develop stronger reading and listening skills
✅ Build confidence and independence
✅ Learn to take turns and follow instructions
✅ Strengthen focus and leadership skills
